Dear ASID California Orange County Chapter Members,

On behalf of the chapter, the Chapter Services Team is seeking members who are willing to share their time, ideas, and leadership to strengthen the local design community.

As we prepare for the year ahead, we currently have open board officer positions and are seeking members interested in helping shape the chapter’s future. Whether you are an experienced chapter volunteer or considering leadership for the first time, there may be an opportunity for you to contribute. Some officer positions have specific membership and prior-service requirements under the ASID Bylaws and Policies. We will work with interested members to identify opportunities that align with their eligibility, experience, interests, and availability.

Most importantly, you do not need to have all the answers. Strong chapter leadership is built through collaboration, clear responsibilities, mentoring, and support from fellow volunteers, the chapter leaders committee, and the ASID Chapter Services team.

We are not looking for an immediate commitment. Instead, we would like to have an initial conversation with members who:

Care about the California Orange County chapter and its future;
Enjoy connecting and collaborating with others;
Have professional or volunteer leadership experience;
Have ideas for how the chapter can better serve its members;
Are willing to learn more about chapter governance; or
Are interested in strengthening their ASID involvement
