Pacific Sales Scholarship 

Award $500

Application Period: August 16, 2024-September 12, 2024

The Pacific Sales Scholarship will award one talented student member of ASID OC with a $500 prize.
This student will display their deep understanding of the power that comes from balancing traditional and innovative aspects of interior design with a creatively crafted essay based on the following prompt:

At Pacific Sales, designers, builders, and architects come together with a shared mission to improve the lives of their customers.

As an interior designer, how would you balance traditional design principles with cutting-edge technology to create a space that feels both timeless and innovative? 

Provide examples of how you would integrate Pacific Sales appliances and technology into a residential or commercial design project.”

Essay Competition Rules: 

• Must be a current ASID OC student member to participate 
• Essay must be no more than 500 words
• Essay must be sent in the following formats:
  • .docx, .pdf
• A biography (250 words or less) and a headshot must also be submitted
• Your essay and all required documents must be emailed to StudentRep@caoc.asid.org by September 12 at 11:59p PST
• All essays submitted without a biography and headshot will not be accepted 
• Scholarship winner will be notified at the ASID OC Gala on September 22, 2024
